only php4-extension works....not .php!

Hi

after installing php4.03 with the windows installer it works, but only with extension php4, not .php!!!i get CGI-error PHP: "Unable to parse configuration file".

I checked the registry (...w3scv/parameters/scriptmap/etc.....) but extensions php and php4 are set the same way, directing to
C:\INETPUB\SCRIPTS\PHP\php4isapi.dll

Any thoughts?

Need more info...

In Apache, I had to configure a parse parameter an separate de directory of both version.

After that, redirect php or php3 extention to the php directory, and redirect php4 extention to the php4 directory.
