Well, everything that I've found seems to point in that direction. Even so, you should see the letter that I just recieved from my clients host concerning their use of 4.0b2. They are talking about weeks to get the issue fixed. To me, it would seem like six hours at the very most if you are compiling with all the bells and whistles.
Word to the wise, check which version of PHP you're host is using before signing on the dotted line.
