Installing BCMATH

Hello,

Is it possible to install BCMATH without having to recompile Apache? I've reconfigured PHP 4.0.3pl1 with --enable-bcmath, and make/make install'd it, but when I phpinfo(), bcmath is not reported as being available. I also get an "undefined function bcadd()" error. Does that mean I have to reconfigure/make/make install Apache also? I don't want to do that, since I don't have the configure options that were used with the httpd server my host's running...

If php is compiled into apache then apache must be recompiled to include the new php module.

You can get some compile info about apache's previous compilation with "httpd -V"
