We've been having a bear of a time compiling php4 (4.0.4) on our sparc system. We are using zeus web server as well. It seems to get to building the various make files and then spits out a message about 'something is more than likely messed up here... possibly config parameters'
The debug.log says something about libz.so fatal error, couldn't find. So we put a link to where it is, but no go.
I've compiled it just fine into apache as a dso (4.03p1), running on x86 solaris. So could it be either zeus or the sparc? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
