PHP 4.0.4p1 Configure problems

Hi, I've been trying to compile the new patchlevel without any success, ./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql fails when it tries to write config.status

./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected
./config.status: test: -gt: unary operator expected

looping indefinately with that error.
I've seen a thread with this error before from dec 2000 but no one helped that guy, and It means it's not specific to the new version.

Ah FWIW I managed to fix the problem by reinstalling the rpm containing the test binary sh-tools-xxx.rpm

Hope this helps anyone else who gets this problem
