I followed the configuration helps from php.net and devshed.com, phpbuilder.net, professional php, articals posted in hotscripts.com, but i could not configure the apache with php well.
It always prompts that some files are missing during the configuration.
./configure --activate-module=src/module/php4/libmodphp4.a
And the error messages:
Zend.h File or Directory no found
..
..
..
However I can locate these files somewhere in the php directory, it seems that it cannot locate some of the header files. I am using apache_1.3.14, php4.04, RedHat 7, toshiba 4100...
by the way, the RPMs provided by RedHat 7 could not work properly (at least I cannot make it functionable). So that I have to download all the source files and make them by myself.
furthermore, my computer always hang after the startup scripts, it can only be solved by pressing "I" by invoke the interactive mode and press the "Y" buttom one by one.
