PHP stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor as far as Zend's website has to say (http://www.zend.com/zend/aboutphp.php)
PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page Tools, but since it moved beyond this, it now stands for PHP: Hypertext preprocessor
I thought it stood for Pure Hacking Pleasure
