Adding SWF support

I allready have PHP with MySQL and gd support up and running. If I wish to add SWF support must I re ./configure --with all that crap, and then recompile? Or is there a simpler way around it?

First of all: I recommend the "ming" PHP extension in stead of the libswf extension for server-side flash scripting.
