I just installed PHP on Red Hat 6.2.
./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql --with-gd
Configure, build and install went fine.
I am doing some work involving sessions so I copied all of my pages in expection them to work. On every page that begins with a session_start() the browser gives me the
<i>The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.</i>
I hve done some searching and a few people have had this problem in the past but I found no solutions. The session isn't even being written to the /tmp directory.
- I have checked permissions on /tmp and it is world writable.
- I did a ton of troubleshooting and I know that the sessions are the problem.
- I didn't touch any of the session options in the php.ini file. (I never have before)
Anyone have any ideas?
