Upgrading PHP support on RPM?

This may sound very stupid, but just to save time... Is there an easy way to upgrade PHP when I have an RPM version of Apache installed (from RedHat 7)? It would be annyoing to have to move things around, deal with permissions, blah, blah, and being able to upgrade would help... How's this done anyhow?

You should learn how the RPM system works; it really pays off.

Some important RPM commands:
rpm -Fvh ....
rpm -Uvh ....
rpm -qi ....
rpm -qa | grep php | sort

Red Hat has sent out some updated PHP-related pacakges. And at http://rpms.arvin.dk/php/ there are some alternative PHP packages with more capabilities.
