Frequent Refreshes in IE

I have Apache, php and IE 5.
The problem is that every time I go to a new page on localhost, IE says the resource could not be downloaded, and I have to click Refresh to download it again. This happens with every page and is quite irrtitating. Please help

Make sure your system (apache, php, your code) is not setting the cache to expire immediately. This is what usually causes IE to (have to) reload the page.

I use PHPLIB to code. And when I use sessions the page , I think, is set to expire immediately. But why should that stop a page from downloading completely. It should only expire that page, when for instance, I go somewhere else and then click back to come to it.

My problem is - when the page is opened thru localhost, 98% of the time the download is cancelled halfway and I get a partial page. Then I have to click refresh and then the page comes up completely.
