Sablotron msgtype: error

Hi,

I want to get Sablotron to work with PHP. I've compiled PHP ok and phpinfo() says:

Sablotron XSLT support enabled, but no extra line about php-sablot extension version. I have enabled it in php.ini using the "extension" command.

Running xslt_create() runs fine, any of the transformation function returns: Sablotron msgtype: error

I'm using Suse Linux 7.0, apache 1.3.17 and php4pl1

Help is VERY MUCH appreciated!

hi jeroen,

i had a lot of fun with this problem. your sablot installation is correct, but sablot doesn't like your xml-document. i don't know why it can't say you 'i don't like this and that', but gives you this helpful message.
try it on the command line with sabcmd <your xml-file> (if sabcmd isn't in your path, normally it resides in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin). this gives a better output.

in my case it was an encoding line at the beginning of the xml-document
