I've been trying to compile PHP 4.02 with GD and jpeg support for about a week now and it just doesn't seem to want to work. Originally I was getting a multiple defined error from ld but now I'm getting it to compile. The only problem is is that it doesn't have any png or jpeg support and it also thinks that it's using GD 1.2, it's not! I have installed GD 1.8.4. This is the specs:
Apache 1.3.17
Jpeg-6b
freeBSD 4.02
PHP 4.02
GD 1.8.4
Any help would be much appreciated!
