Been trying to get the "AddHandler cgi-script .cgi" into the httpd.conf but I get:
Invalid command 'AddHandler' defined in a module not included in the server configuration.
So I tried to install Commanche to generate the conf file but after installing tcltk and running /usr/local/bin/wish8.3 /usr/local/com990406/main.tcl I get:
"package require Iwidgets 3.0"
And try as I can I can't find an Iwidget 3.0 download anywhere on the web!
The README file says to go to
http://comanche.com.net/linux/RPM/rhcn/i386/itcl-3.0.1.i386.html
but of course we all know that comanche.com.net offloaded this task to some-thing-or-another who doesn't have the download of course.
What I really need is just to get my conf file to let me run my perl/cgi project but not from the cgi-bin. I can't see piling several projects together into one big miss-mash of .cgi programs - I could never maintain it!
I just put out $100 for books and am waiting Amazon.com to deliver them, but in the mean time if anyone can point me to the order of commands and syntax for the httpd.conf Apache file I would be for ever in your debt.
