I am thinking about buying Red Hat 7.1. It comes with Apache 1.3.19. How can I install PHP as an Apache Module (when apache is already installed). Any suggestions??

you should be able to compile php normally with the --with-apxs option. i'd check to see what version of php redhat 7.1 ships with. it might be shipping with php version 4.04pl1.
