I'm trying to compile php with sybase/mssql support.
I've compiled apache with dso support, that's not an issue, it works fine.
now I'm trying to compile my php with --with-sybase-ct=/usr/local/freetds and I'm getting errors about a missing (sybctl)
now I'm trying to compile my php with sybase itself, I've installed sybase into /opt/sybase and used --with-sybase-ct=/opt/sybase and I'm getting now ctpublic.h missing...
it's so frustrating ... I've spent my whole day trying to do this and yet I'm still so far and I can't find any QUALITY documentation. I've been on php.net and gone through the whole sybase functions... I've been on php builder and went through that guys so called tutorial... and it still not working...
does anyone know where I can find a quality tutorial ? something that gives you more than that ./configure, make, make install thing ?
