Which is, of course, unsecure as heck when running on Windows, which you will reply well...go to *nix...which someone will reply to saying they can't because the business is Windows based and will only use IIS 5.0...which someone will reply saying quit and work for some business who uses something better...at which someone will remind them that he can do that if you are willing to pay all his bills, house payments, and groceries while he looks...
There is the perfect world of running exactly what we want on the platform we want, and then there is the real world of what we are pretty much stuck with depending on the situation.
Some day we will all be at that point, but its still a long way off. For now, we have to address the problems we can handle. ;-)
