extension dir in php.ini

Hello,

I installed php4 on a system running win98 and pws. A lot of my scripts run just fine but there are times when I see a dos window run php.exe and i get error messages saying php can't find the dll's in the ./extensions folder and that there are missing library files.

Am I pointing to the extensions folder incorrectly in my php.ini file? My php.ini says: extensions dir = ./extensions

I've also tried changing the path to:
./ and c:\php\extensions
but still get the error messages.

I've had trouble getting the extensions directory recognized under Win98. Instead, I have set it to empty string and copied the extension DLL into the \windows\system directory.

If you still have trouble (and you're using PHP4.04) then copy libsasl.dll into \windows\system as well. Not sure what this does, but it appears to be needed such that extensions load correctly.
