download it from www.redhat.com or from any of the mirrors.

either burn it to cdrom or follow the instructions on how to do a ftp install. you can make the install floppies and have the redhat install download the rest of the files via ftp.

Just remember that a full (very full) distribution is 2 cd's, which is 1200MB, or a lot of hours on a modem :-)

Yeah, it takes me two to three hours to do a server/workstation install via 640kbps DSL. I'd hate to imagine doing it via dial up...

      :)

Just remember: Stormix went out of business two weeks ago, slackware is on the verge of bankruptcy and eazle has said if the don't get more vc in the "next few weeks" they'll have to fold.

consider buying a copy. it's cheaper than windows, comes with bags of apps and you get stickers. Plus, you help keep a company that has based it's business on giving stuff away afloat. A worthy cause.

        Did i mention there's stickers?
