dear sir I did't know what is php and I need a way to protect my folder through password. Is it possible sir? When I searching time u r site is shown. But I can't find out any way to protect my folder sir. So please tell me sir if any way to protect my folder. I am using windows 98.

there are a couple of different ways to protect files and folders depending on what web server you're running.

if you're running apache and need to protect a folder, use the .htaccess files to force the user to authenticate.
