Hi,
on my RedHat 6.2 I tried to upgrade from PHP3 to PHP4. I did
this numerous times on other systems, but there seems to be a
problem with MySQL installed by RPM.
After starting Apache it immediately dies without any error message or log.
Compiling PHP without MySQL works fine.
MySQL : 3.22.32 (all three RPMs installed).
I also used the right path: --with-mysql=/usr
This path is correct with php3 to find the includes.
