Loading Extensions

Hi,

I have PHP 4 installed and I want to add MS SQL sever support.
I have created an extensions folder in my PHP4 file and put the php_mssql.dll in that folder.
I have changed the extension directory in the php.ini file to C:\php4\extensions - is this correct?
I have removed the semi colon before the extension=php_mssql.dll directive in the php.ini file is this correct??
When ever I try and connect to it I recieve a fatal error call to undefined function.
If I use the get_loaded_extensions () function ms sql does not show up.
Why is it not being loaded and what am i doing wrong?

hi there,

i had the same problem and the solution was so easy, that i didn't see it.

first of all you have to copy your php.ini into your system folder (c:\winnt) (i've deletet the php.ini from c:\php not to get confused ...).

still had trouble, so i set the path environment variable to
c:/php/dlls

(try not to include and require the ldap dll :-)
