Although the MDK autoupgrade tells me PHP 4.0.5 (from memory) is installed, I can't get ANY script to run (including those I downloaded). What I get instead is a dump of the PHP script. When I do "httpd restart" I can see it restarting the PERL modules ... but nary a word about PHP.
What I want to know is whether there is anything I can do with init scripts or the like toward getting PHP running?
At this point in the frustration curve my first thought is to strip LAMP & postgresql off the machine and start clean. It seems there should be a less severe way to do this.
Sorry if my phrasing isn't clear ... but it's 2:30 am and I have not been thinking straight for several hours now.
