Win98 - 2 Questions :)

Hi!

 I have 2 questions, they might sound a bit dumb but I can't answer them so I'm asking for help :)

 Anyway here they are:

1.- Each time I try to run a script it run's fine but I have to save my files in the "htdocs" dir, and I can't run script in any subdirectory. I was wondering how can I fix that (if it's an error). I want to have the scripts running in a dir like
" c:\phpscripts\ " or something like that. And I want to have the ability to run the scripts in a subdir too.

2.- The second question is: Can I run PHP scripts offline or do I have to be online?

if they are running on localhost, you just have to have apache running and everything will work fine with no internet connection.

as for c:\phpscripts\ you'll have to change a setting in httpd.conf that says where your files are. the reason it doesn't work is a very good security feature.
