Hey,
I've installed php 5 or 6 times now on Linux machines alone and once on Windows. I've never had many issues until this time around. I was using 4.0.5 first, but all it would compile is the cgi executable. No "libphp4.so"! So, after giving up on it, I went to 4.0.4, which for some reason isn't supporting HTTP_POST_VARS! WHAT!?!
So here are the questions...
1. Running ./configure --help doesn't provide any clues as to how to compile for the apache module or the cgi or both. So how do you do it? Or, does php normally create both?
- In all the previous installations of PHP, I never typed in anything at the ./configure line stating support for HTTP_POST_VARS, yet it was allways there. What could've changed, or did or didn't I do this time around?
Comments and ideas will be very appreciated as I have work to do and this isn't helping me get it done.
Thanx in advance,
Big Din K.R.
