PHP Problem - Please Help

Hello,

I am very new for PHP. I wrote a simple Hello program.
But, when I run the this php program, File Download is running.
I am running WinNT 4.0, Apache 1.3.1 and PHP405.

What can I do ?

Hi,

you have to tell your apache what to do with the php-extensions:

just edit your httpd.conf file and enter something like this:

# And for PHP 4.x, use:
#
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

...and then modify the line to:

#

DirectoryIndex: Name of the file or files to use as a pre-written HTML

directory index. Separate multiple entries with spaces.

#
<IfModule mod_dir.c>
DirectoryIndex index.htm index.php index.html
</IfModule>

restart apache and it'll work

I think, there is a problem in my httpd.conf. Because when I check in my httpd.conf files, I did not see

And for PHP 4.x, use:

</IfModule>
statements.
And then I checked srm.conf. I found that statements in srm.conf file.
Anyway, I chanced in srm.conf file, but there is no any chancing in my progress.

Would you please say me my fault ? Or is it possible to send your srm.conf and httpd.conf files ?
