php with linux !

Hello !
I have installed php 4.0.5 on Red Hat linux 6.2 . There is builtin apache web server in linux .
I am having oracle 8i on linux as well . I want to configure php with oracle 8i .
I want to know which changes i have to do in the httpd.conf file or in the other file so that php could work with oracle on linux.

You need to make sure that the user who owns/starts the web server (usually root) has all of the oracle environment variables in his .profile. These environment variables also need to be set while you are compiling PHP. Other than that there are no file changes to be made.
