Apache install ?

I've installed apache and I was just wondering why when I type "http://www.myaddress.com/folder" I get a page not found error. but if I change it to "http://www.myaddress.com/folder/" it finds the index.html page like it should. What should I change in the config file?

hey taylor..
you should get the contents of your folder appearing in the browser if you put address.com/folder. So if you get a page not found you have probably something going on with the way names are resolved. Make sure in the httpd.conf file you put the entire fully qualified name for the machine.. machinename.microsoft.com.
Just uncomment it and that helps resolving problems. but you still won't get the index unless you type /. But you should get the folder contents with the /. I hope that helped

Try to edit file httpd.conf.
Look for DocumentRoot and ServerRoot, and make sure that points to the right path with /folder.
