I recently downloaded MySQL 3.23.39a for use with Win98.
I installed it but it won't load. The error message is 'Incorrect information in file '.\mysql\host.frm''
Now this file is a zero-length file.
In fact all files in the following folders (and their subfolders) are zerolength:
Bench
Data
Docs
Examples
Include
Lib
Scripts
Questions:
Why are these zero length? Are they supposed to be? If not, how do I get the correct files? and crucially -
what is the correct information for host.frm to enable mMySQL to run?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
