RH 7.1-PHP.40.6 & IMAP

There have been several posts regarding this topic here, and on many other forums. I unfortunately fall into the category of "have been there, tried 'em all, and still getting the mxdriver error on Apache start". So, in an attempt to track down where the exact problem is occuring, I would like to request some information from the community...
If you have a successful install of PHP-4.0.6 with IMAP on a RH 7.1 system can you please post or forward the following info:
Apache version: RPM/source/compile options
PHP - version(for those using CVS)-compile options
IMAP - version/RPM/source-compile options
Kerberos - version/RPM/source-compile options
Open SSL - version/RPM/source-compile options,
and finally, what tricks you used to make it work...

Found this in the archives. Could it be a clue? I have this exact problem but AFAIK I have imap-devel-2000-9 rpm installed.
