guess im bothering you these days.. please try to be patience with me !
i want to enable mbstring (muli byte string) in php.. so from what ive understand that these are extentions to php and must be extensions dir of php. though i dont have the extensions but i came across with is http://demo.horde.org/devel/horde/chora/cvs.php/ext/mbstring?rt=php that i have to download and compile them back to windows/dll ..... my question are they ny kind of these file ready compiled for windows ... that i have to just to put it under php/extension dir or windows dir...
if what am i talking is non-sence pleeease let me understand the way it should be...

by the way.. im running apache 1.3x winddows 98 and php4x
