OK so I've installed PHP4 and MySQL (Win98 & PWS)
when I:
print phpinfo();
all looks good
but when I try to create a database with:
mysqladmin -u root create mydb
it crashes with a parse error
errm help anyone!?
Try creating a database in "mysqladmin.exe" instead of the DOS program ... then you can tell what it is ...
there is a great program (well its a website you download) that does all the mysql stuff for you, it's very easy to use and userfriendly. I love it, best of all it's free it's called PHPMyAdmin you can find it here:
