PHP - MySQL - Apache

Since I have been using the above with no issues on my Win2K box I thought I would take a stabe at running it on Linux.

Everything compiled fine but when I try and run the test.php it wants to download the file.

I added the just like the Windoze one

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

What am I missing

Which dist are you using? Redhat?

RH 7.0 PHP 4.06 Apache 1.3.20 MySQL 3.23.41

New install nothing else added before the install.

Did you add Apache to the startup?

I am having the same problem. I tried it using an install tutorial, everything compiled fine and mysql is rinning but I cannot get the phpinfo to return. It downloads to my machine and opens in a dos window. I suspect it is a problem with apache setup but cannot seem to figure it out.
