php.ini file

I need help locating the php.ini file in order to setup sendmail.

php_info() says it's located here:

/usr/local/lib

but when I find file (as root), there's nothing. I have found a file named 'php_ini.h' but that's it.

I'm running Mac OS X/apache/php4.0.6

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look in the PHP4 source tree for php.ini-dist and copy it over:

cp php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib/php.ini

Then restart your Apache server.
