PHPinfo show incorrect build date

I am recompilng PHP 4.0.6 on Solaris 8 w/apache 1.3 to add gd support. I successfully did .configure, make and make install. But when I run PHPinfo it shows an incorrect build date and without the options I complied in. PHP What do I need to do to have the latest version of PHP be used by the system?

make clean; make; make install;

Brandon, I also had to run .configure again, but this corrected my problem. I think this should be added to the FAQ section. I saw other people asking the same question, but no answers. Thanks again.

I am having the same problem...

Rh 7.1, Apache 1.3.19, Mysql, php 4.05

I also tried the make clean option...
One thing you didn`t mention here, is that it is wize to remove the config.cache in the php src directory before you rerun configure...

I have tried different approaches to solve this problem, but the hazzle wont't hossle up.

I also wanted to add gd support. That was all.. What have I done to deserve this?

I noticed a problem that the compile was completing with no errors but phpinfo did not show the correct compile date. I had to clear out my browser cache file before the correct date showed. That took me about an half-hour to figure that one out.
