I have downloaded the dll and put it in D:\php4\extensions. I edited php.ini to have the extension=php_gd.dll (that is the correct filename). When apache loads it says "Unable to load dynamic library 'd:\php4\extensions\php_gd.dll' - one of the library files needed to run this application cannot be found." or A device attached to the system is not functioning.
perhaps there is something to add in apache?
