Uploading files to server...

I have installed php 4.0.5 on Apache 1.3.19 on a Rh 7.1 sys.
I am experiencing huge problems with the "copy" function in php.
I do believe I have done everything right.
All the other pages are working smoothly.

The script takes a file, stores it in my tmp dir. that I have spescified in php.ini
(/home/tmp/)
I have global_vars turned on, and I also have chmo'ed the tmp dir to 777..

I just can't upload files. whatever I do, the script chokes and says it can't do it.

I wonder if there is something special you have to compile into php or Apache to make this work..??

I found the problem.
Since I in my genious mind had set @copy instead of just copy. I received no error from php...

The error was of course the write permission which was wrong!
I had set the permission to the webuser... But I had to change it to "nobody"..
Then it worked..
