Script not executed

Hi there,
I am experiancing problem with PHP-Apache. I have been working on the same env. since last one year. I used to install both three times on different machines.
Now, i have installed PHP4.6 and Apache1.3.20 on my machine and i found that PHP is running as Apache module( from console) but, the server is not executing the script. Nothing found in the browser. when i saw the souce I found the script in the source code (as it is without executing).
Any ideas on this is greatly appreciated.

Note: I am running PHP as Apache Module

Hi,
I forgot to state some details in my query.
My Environment
Apache1.3.20/PHP6.0/Win98
I haven't compiled from source. I am using binary dist.

Make sure these are in httpd.conf:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
