Where can i find xml.so?

Hi,
I'm trying to set up an xml-rpc server in PHP. I'm running PHP 3.0.8 on red hat 6.1. When I try to use the server, I'm getting a message saying it can't find xml.so.

Does anyone know how I can fix this, other than upgrading to PHP4?
