Configure without thread support?

Hi,

Is it possible to configure php-4.0.6 for Solaris without thread support? I tried
"with-tsrm-pthread=no" and then "without-tsrm-pthread" but I still see the option "-D_POSIX_PTHREAD_SEMANTICS" when I run the make command.
