getmxrr() is not supported in PHP build?

As per the subject, I am trying to use not only getmxrr(), but checkdnsrr() as well, both give me the following error:

Warning: getmxrr() is not supported in this PHP build in ...

Warning: checkdnsrr() is not supported in this PHP build in ...

Did I grab the wrong binary? Is it my php.ini? Any and all help greatly appreciated!

Neither function is supported in the Win32 build of PHP. Would be nice if that little jem was mentioned in the manual eh?🙂

Not that I'm aware of..... at least not PHP. You might be able to find a command line DNS utility though that you can then call via exec() or one of the other program execution functions. You''d just need to capture the output and parse out the info from the returned strings.
