Php mysql compilation problem

Hi guys
I run connect script through browser and through command line

In browser it runs fine but on command line it says call to undefined function mysql_connect("ma","ma","ma");

whats this funny problem.
I think that my php is not compiled for command line with mysql

but i see phpinfo() i can see it configured -- with mysql

Any solution will be help ful

tryyou can softly recompile PHP...
cd /path/to/php/sources

make distclean (only if you compiled PHP by yourself in the past)

./configure --with-apxs=[/path/to/apache/bin/apxs] --with-
mysql=[/path/to/basedir/of/mysql] ... --whatever-you-want

make && make install
