PHP - with crypt

Hiya, im running php under windows, and i would like to know, how to use crypt using DES algorethem under php.
I did download the crypt for win32, it came up with bunch of .c files , but it dosent say how to install or use, anyone have any ideas, how to set it up in windows/php and where can i get the win32 version of it, if needed!

the .c files are C files. haha. You need to compile them. If you don't have a C compiler, you could download cygwin which is a unix terminal emulator for windows, just make sure you select the gcc package install. Or you could use djggp freeware compiler.

I wish I could help you more, but I've downloaded the libcrypt library aswell and have not been able to successfully compile it 🙁

I'm having the same hassle -- need to get crypt() working on win32. I'm going to try downloading the php build over at http://www.php4win.de, they might have compiled it already -- give it a try?
