I ask because it's confusing and hard to figure out how to install freetype on the raq3
I get different advice, nothing proven
and frankly, that concerns me
What if I just want to use gd/php
to create images and use text, I can't use a gnu product or other software so I can have normal fonts?
I have to use freetype? The list is useless and the site talks of unix way, but other users gave hints that say it would work doing it another way to install freetype
So, if I don't install freetype, am I eternally stuck with horrible fonts on my dynamically created images? I really don't know, don't mean to whine, I literally am not sure
