php speed slow with redhat 7.1

hi,
i had linux 6.2 (Redhat). now i upgraded it to 7.1 but the speed of php programmes has decrease. most of the time it gives timeout.

can any one suggest what is the problem

If it's not a code problem (forget a $x++ in a while loop?) then I'd ask is your network config in good order between your client and your server? And host resolution working right?

Every time I find a performance issue such as this, and it's not a code problem/error, it's usually host resolution.

But then I've not tried RH 7.1 yet...
