I configured my apache it is working if i give the exact ip let us say 192.168.x.x . But I cannot get apache first page if i am using http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost simply. Why this ? Anybody can help me ?

Check your /etc/hosts file make sure this reflects the correct IP address for the server.. also check the APACHEROOT/conf/httpd.conf ServerName directive..
