PHP & Oracle...

Hi,

I've a problem on installing PHP with Oracle support...
The problem is Oracle resides on other machine which is an NT machine in my case an the PHP+Apache is on another machine which is OpenBSD in my case...
During the PHP compilation PHP seems trying to find the Oracle libraries or so which is of course doesn't exist in the BSD machine...
if there a way other than using the PHP ODBC?

I don't think Oracle is supported under OpenBSD, and you need the OCI client code installed to compile PHP.

ODBC can be really slow; IMHO your best bet is to have a look at SQL Relay on http://www.firstworks.com/sqlrelay.html

It also has a PHP API.
