I am new to Linux, but impressed with the stability and its capacity when running postgresql. We have installed Mandrake with apache AdvancedExtranetServer/1.3.19 and PHP Version 4.0.4pl1. I want to install ucd-snmp version 4.1 or 4.2 (any will do).
How do I recompile PHP, and where do I find the source code to do so on my machine (perhaps the source code was not in the distribution ? )
Is there a module to give SNMP support somewhere as this was fairly simple under NT?
Apache complains it cannot find MIB support upon startup. Where should I put the mibs?
