I have php3 installed as a module with apache on a redhat 6.2 system. The php was built without mysql support which I need to add. Since I have never installed a single piece of software on a linux system, I was wondering if someone could point me to a tutorial online, a book, or some command lines on what I specifically need to do. Unfortunately, most forum entries assume install knowledge I don't have.
