Running:
IIS, PHP, MySQL

I've installed and got a poll working (PHP+MySQL) but I've tried about 3 diff php-forums and when I try to install them (ie install.php or something) I get "undefined variable". Usually I can continue some steps but I will always have tons of undefined variables and at some point it won't continue.

Is it some security setting for the folder (IIS, like write/execute permission) or is it some PHP/MySQL settings that's wrong?

Get things like:
"Warning: Undefined variable: step in install.php on line 25"

Have you ever tried XMB Forum? I think that one is pretty decent. As for the errors, I think it might be something is not set correctly or something is missing. Try looking through the homepage and posting at the forums of the forums you downloaded.

Hi, I guess you have PHP 4.1.0 If, then check the php.ini file. Most forum-code ist written for older PHP-versions and depend on registerglobals=on. Try this.

I checked php.ini, though it was on by default.
